I'm not surprised a friend's adult son has become friends with the world gaslighting record holder!! Its what happens to people who've just dropped out of uni, or have just finished it and haven't got a clue what to do like this guy here seven years ago. People can be very susceptible to ANY idea that will give them financial security when they are in the frame of mind of 'wanting to keep up appearances'!! So when they see the riches this guy has received for officially denying everything he told the police (including that the police weren't even involved), they are going to let him take them under his arm, just like everyone at the hotel literally saw the new owner do to this guy.
