I can feel another semi-auto-biography coming on ;)

In "Hot Fuzz,"  the "Wicker Man" reference alludes to the classic horror film where a police officer investigates a missing child on a remote island inhabited by a pagan cult who ultimately sacrifice him in a giant wicker man ;  essentially, it signifies a situation where a seemingly normal community hides a dark, sinister secret, often involving ritualistic practices, which the protagonist unwittingly stumbles upon, mirroring the plot of the original "Wicker Man" movie.   Key points about the "Wicker Man" reference in "Hot Fuzz": The seemingly idyllic village: Like in "The Wicker Man," the town of Sandford in "Hot Fuzz" appears initially peaceful and welcoming, but beneath the surface, there are unsettling secrets and strange rituals happening.   The outsider cop: Nicholas Angel, the protagonist, is an outsider police officer who arrives in Sandford, just as Sergeant Neil Howie in "The Wicker Man" arrives ...

Don't get involved in semi-rural areas 'issues', just run and keep on running!

Advice for people who relocate or go back to live in semi-rural area! If you get employed in a job where they call on you to deal with something that isn't in your job description; don't do it as It's A Trap!! For instance, people have been called upon to deal with underage sex! People have reported being called to deal with what everyone knows is underage with overaged having sex in the toilet next to reception of the largest hotel within a 25 mile radius, for three years! They get an out of towner to deal with it though to add to their cultural entertainment! They will get the teenagers to threaten you with being 'sliced up' for stopping them, despite their parents organising their toilet sessions with management, who are always nearby! The whole borough will then deny any police report you've made, & treat you as the villain! Therefore when moving to semi-rural areas keep your head down & don't get involved in anything that doesn't directly a...

The E v Speckled pill debate

Image
The results are in from the E v Speckled Pill debate 😍 After a slow start for the E lovers, the speckled lovers decided to go to bed at 8pm on a friday night when they were 18 - 2 up 🥴 The E lovers came home to seize the day though when they got back in a couple of hours after sunrise to make the final score 21 - 24 to the E -Lovers 😃 Meanwhile 100% of 163 Speckled fans who commented didn't know what the word 'apparently' meant! This they put down to being told officially that they have done something many times, and being as they knew they had done it they thought it meant 'definitely had' 😉🤣😂🤣😃

The Wise Man from the Staffs, Derbys & Chesh Triangle

Image
We heard all about Gotham on the walk the other day from the organiser, even though we were 13 miles away. The only thing missing from this from what was said on the walk is that "The King imposed a tariff on every road that he travelled on, hence, the locals acted mad so the king (or his staff) never travelled there again, as madness was thought to be contagious > The Wise Men of Gotham During the reign of King John (1199–1216), the villagers of Gotham pretended to be foolish to stop the king from making Gotham his royal residence. The villagers' actions included fencing in a bush to keep a cuckoo captive, trying to drown eels, and putting cows on thatched roofs. The villagers' actions were successful, and the king's road was rerouted to avoid the village. The villagers became known as "the wise men of Gotham". The stories of the "Wise Men of Gotham" were written in books, including The Merie Tales of the Mad Men of Gotam in 1565. 800 years late...

Operation Philsafe

Operation Philsafe A Recommended addition to Operation Makesafe For those times when management need more than just a good talking too! Operation Philsafe 1 Beware of Hotel managers who tell the office they won't be interviewing a man after hearing of his history but will be "Calling him to see if they can help raise the child". Then allow the girl to frequent the toilets for over two years despite being barred! Operation Philsafe 2 Beware of Operations Managers who when put on the spot tell the police they've "met up with the mother" of a 17 year old male & unbarred him & his 3 years younger girlfriend, as "they won't have sex in the toilet again" Then get away with denying everything! Operation Philsafe 3 Beware of F&B managers who are waiting outside your office to shout in your face that you are "F***ing Bent"! After its been reported to the police what has been going off in the toilets for over two years. These p...
